Teach courses that are in higher demand… (this is a no brainer, a course in “cow nutrition” is probably more demanding than “cow tipping”. And thus, should be more lucrative as well.)

Setup short courses. One course with 10 classes might be higher price compare to one course with only 3 classes. Unless you know your students or have great track record, we always recommend teachers to setup courses with not too many classes.

Make sure you have great syllabus and course details. So students can see if your course suits their learning needs.

Affordability. Making your class affordable is important too. You probably want to set your price lower than face to face teaching. On your first course, you can set rates competitively to entice students to register for your class.

Be on time to your classes. Being on-time for class start and end is very important! myConfucius allow early login 10 minutes prior to scheduled start time.

Post ads! Advertising is important, you can post ads online. With myConfucius, you can post your course where the demand might be the highest. For example, if you are teaching English to foreign speakers, you can post your course at Tokyo, Taipei, Mumbai, or Paris (well, maybe not Paris…) Or, if you teach LSAT to hopeful law school students, you can post ads on Craigslist in New York, Boston, Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles, etc.
